Support Tools

Help Desk and Support Tickets

Viva IT Services uses Trellis Desk for it's help desk management system. if you have a change request, or an issue that you'd like us to look at about your software or website, please login to the Viva IT Services Support Desk and create your ticket.

If you don't have a login, please register to create your Support Desk login. If you have already registered but have forgotten your password, you can reset it via the Forgot Password link.

We normally respond to tickets generated here within 4 business hours.

Remote Support Tools

Viva IT Services uses TeamViewer for it's remote support software. Team Viewer is a tool that allows us to remotely connect onto your PC to see what's happening on your screen, should we need to.

To use our Remote Support tools, you will need to download the Team Viewer QuickSupport file. You can do that here.

Instructions on how to connect are as follows:

  1. Click here to start the Team Viewer QuickSupport software.
  2. Once downloaded, click "Run"
  3. Follow any prompts to install the software correctly.
  4. You should have screen that gives you a 9 digit ID and a 4 digit password.
  5. When asked, tell us what both those numbers are. We'll plug them into our software and voila, we'll be able to see your desktop.

We can also use this to show you changes or items within our local network here, which is useful for showing you up-coming changes and getting feedback on them.

Automated Remote Support Software

Occasionally there may be a need to connect to your PC remotely without you being at the PC. This may be the case if the software we've developed for you is sitting on it's own PC somewhere, and there is a configuration issue that requires changing.

In this case, we recommend setting up our Automated Remote Support software on the PC where the software is installed. That way, no matter where you are, if you let us know there's a problem we can log in immediately and seek to resolve the issue.
